Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions purchased through aquatone.life.

1. Digital Product Nature

AquaTone subscriptions provide immediate access to digital content (ambient audio streaming, water soundscapes, and premium player features). Due to the nature of digital products — where content is delivered and consumed instantly — our default policy is that subscription payments are non-refundable.

2. Exceptions — When We Do Refund

We will issue a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:

• Unauthorized charges — if your account was charged without your authorization, and you report it within 7 days of the charge.
• Service unavailability — if the Service is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours and we fail to provide a reasonable remedy.
• Duplicate charges — if you were charged more than once for the same billing period.
• Billing error — if you were charged an incorrect amount due to a technical error on our part.
• EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal — see Section 3 below.

3. EU and UK Customers — Right of Withdrawal

If you are a resident of the European Union or the United Kingdom, consumer protection laws grant you the right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days of the transaction date. However, by starting your subscription, you acknowledge that:

• Digital content is provided to you immediately upon payment.
• By clicking "Subscribe", you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the content has been fully delivered.

If you have not used the Service since subscribing, you may request a refund within 14 days. We will verify usage before processing.

4. How to Request a Refund

Send an email to hello@aquatone.life with:

• The email address associated with your subscription.
• The date and amount of the charge.
• A brief explanation of why you're requesting a refund.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days and credited to your original payment method.

5. Cancellation Without Refund

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future charges but does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the end of the paid period.

6. Free Trial

If we offer a free trial in the future, you may cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. No refunds will be issued for charges incurred after a free trial has ended, unless one of the exceptions in Section 2 applies.
